How to organize your manga and comic collection by volume
Add series with volumes, see what's missing and mark several volumes as read at once.
1. Add each volume with its series
Comics and manga are grouped as Comics. In the details, fill in the series name and volume. Volumes can be fractional or special: 3, 3.5 or "Special". Different spellings of the same name, like "One Piece" and "One piece", are recognized as one series.
Choose whether it is a series, publisher collection or story arc in the field next to the volume.
2. See what's missing
Under Collection, in the Series tab, each series shows how many volumes you've read, a progress bar and the next volume missing from your shelf. Adjust the total with the + and − buttons if the series has more or fewer volumes than you've added. When you've read them all, the series is marked complete.
3. Separate what you own from what you want to buy
In each volume's details, under "Your copy", choose ownership: I own it, Want to buy or I don't own it (read on loan or by subscription). Volumes marked Want to buy make up your shopping list in the Want to read tab.
4. Update several volumes at once
Finished a stack of volumes over the weekend? On your shelf, filter by Comics or series name, tap Select, choose the volumes and change their status to Read. The finish date is added automatically and you can undo it.
5. Keep track of each volume's location
A large collection may live on several shelves. Under Location, add the room, shelf or box. You can fill this in for several volumes at once using shelf selection.
